Saratoga Hospital Surgical Services seeks a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to fill a new night Rounding Role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical first assisting and be comfortable with bedside procedures. The role requires high functioning individuals who are self-starters with confidence and a degree of independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover 12 hour night shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
- Rounding and responsibilities include responding to calls for surgical patients, such as general surgery and urology
- Assist in overnight surgeries
- Admit and consult with patients overnight
- Be comfortable and willing to learn with bedside procedures
Requirements:
- NYS license as a practicing Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in surgical first assisting
- Ability to work independently with confidence
