Job Summary

As a Clinical Resource Specialist - Wound, Ostomy, and Continence, you will play a vital role in supporting our nursing staff in providing top-notch care to patients with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a clinical resource and consultant to the nursing staff in the care of patients with ostomies, fistula tubes, dermal wounds, incontinence, and other disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.
  • Assist in staff development, staff education, and patient education related to care.
Requirements
  • BSN graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Two years of related clinical nursing experience.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Graduate of an accredited Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nursing Education Program.
  • Board certification in Wound and Ostomy care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Continence Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of WOC Nursing program development and teaching experience.
