About the Role

At Cherry Bekaert LLP, we're seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team. As a key member of our tax practice, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries, helping us grow our tax services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare federal and multi-state tax returns, with a focus on C-Corps and ASC tax provisions.
  • Conduct research on fundamental tax issues using online tools.
  • Perform other accounting duties as needed, under the guidance of managers.
  • Train and develop Staff Accountants.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, partners, and clients.

What We're Looking For

An ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a Master's degree preferred. They should also be CPA certified or eligible to work towards obtaining a CPA license, with + years of experience in public accounting. Proficiency in personal computers, including spreadsheet software programs, is essential, with experience in ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement a plus.
