Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Develop and implement program curricula and activities that promote workforce readiness and social skills.
    • Collaborate with program staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Youth Support and Guidance
    • Provide individualized support and guidance to youth participants to help them achieve their career goals.
    • Facilitate workshops and orientations to promote career exploration and development.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships
    • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote program services.
    • Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to provide work-based learning opportunities.
  • Administrative and Reporting Tasks
    • Manage program records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Submit timely and accurate reports to program administrators.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma required; current college enrollment. AA/AS degree a plus.
    • Minimum of three years of experience planning and facilitating workshops for youth on workforce and career topics.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a professional setting.
    • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word/Excel2010; demonstrated work proficiency with the Internet.
Working Conditions

The Employment Education Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
