About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track professor in the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing and the College of Engineering at UMass Amherst.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in nursing, engineering, or joint inter-professional courses.
  • Supervise graduate students.
  • Contribute significantly to the advancement of engineering/nursing/healthcare applications.
  • Establish a vibrant, independent research program.
  • Play an active role in community and academic service activities.
Requirements
  • PhD in nursing or engineering with relevant medical experience and a focus on healthcare.
  • Qualifications that allow them to be appointed at the rank of associate or full professor.
  • A stellar track record in research in nursing and engineering, including extramural funding, teaching, and leadership.
  • A commitment to diverse and cross-disciplinary academic and industrial collaborations.
