Job OpportunityThe Department of Chemistry at UMass Amherst invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to develop a research program in Materials Chemistry. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in Inorganic Materials Chemistry.
RequirementsWe seek talented applicants qualified for Assistant Professor positions. Under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks may be considered. Women and applicants from underrepresented groups in Chemistry are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a related field with relevant postdoctoral experience is required.
Community and CollaborationThe successful candidate will join a dynamic, interdisciplinary materials science and engineering community at UMass Amherst. They will also be a member of our MSE IDGP, which brings together over 60 faculty members from the College of Natural Sciences and College of Engineering.
