Overview:

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a vital field-based scientific authority, providing support for Neurology throughout the entire product lifecycle. This role involves acting as the main scientific liaison with healthcare professionals within the designated territory, merging clinical expertise with business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement impactful territory strategies:

  • Formulate and sustain territory plans with a focus on prioritization and segmentation
  • Engage proactively with healthcare professionals and research investigators
  • Leverage data analytics to identify and maximize opportunities
  • Generate significant data point observations (DPOs)

Act as a scientific resource for external partners:

  • Provide education on the disease state, therapeutic options, and product offerings

Maintain in-depth knowledge of the therapeutic landscape:

  • Stay updated on market dynamics and product information
  • Support research initiatives as requested by the Research and Development team

Collaborate with cross-functional teams:

  • Engage with commercial departments, clinical research associates, and other relevant teams

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred (doctorate level preferred) in health sciences
  • Ideal educational backgrounds include: PhD, PharmD, DNP, NP, PA, MD
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical/scientific/research experience, with at least 1 year in an MSL role
  • Experience as an MSL in Neurology, particularly in Parkinson's Disease, is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to fulfill healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
