About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Management Executive to join our team at BrightSpeed. As a key member of our corporate real estate team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and management of our real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Planning and Monetization: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the value of our real estate portfolio, including sales transactions and negotiations with external partners.
  • Energy and Sustainability Programs: Lead the development and implementation of energy and sustainability initiatives to reduce costs and improve environmental performance.
  • Lease Administration: Oversee the administration of our lease portfolio, including landlord relationships and lease payments.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular financial reports and analysis to stakeholders, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and trend analysis.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of our headquarters building in Charlotte, NC.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in a corporate real estate environment, with a proven track record of managing large-scale real estate portfolios.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications such as Real Estate License, BOMA, IFMA, PM, or other business management or technical certifications.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams and external partners.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
