Data Transfer and Security Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Transfer and Security Expert to join our team at ATR Arena Technical Resources, LLC. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure transfer of sensitive data between classified and unclassified networks.

About the Job
This is a hybrid position based in Washington, DC, with the flexibility to work from home or our office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data classification, declassification, and classification reviews, with a minimum of five years' experience in this field. Active Security+ certification is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain familiarity with client's Classification Guide, applicable classification marking requirements, and data types in use by the specific classified network.
  • Review all requests for transfers from the classified network to the unclassified network and provide written approval of any permissible requests.
  • Perform classification marking reviews of documentation maintained by the classified network and provide feedback on any instances of mismarking discovered.
  • Assist with data spill cleanup and supervising personnel cleaning up spills.

Requirements:
  • Five+ years' experience of data classification, declassification, and classification reviews.
  • Active Security+ certification.
  • Strong communication skill to understand and communicate data scope, breadth, and depth.
  • Expert level communication skills in the English language.
  • Master's degree in an IT-related field (e.g., cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering) with 5+ years of experience in an IT-related field; or a bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience in an IT related field.

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
