Job Summary

As a Maintenance Lead at Aspire Bakeries, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for coordinating and working with a team of skilled technicians to maintain our facilities and equipment in top condition. This will involve handling both planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.



Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and work with a team of skilled technicians to maintain facilities and equipment in top condition
  • Handle both planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving skills to meet our customers' expectations
  • Fill in as a Shift Maintenance Supervisor when needed
  • Manage contractor work as required and assigned
  • Communicate with the team regarding performance standards and expectations
  • Coordinate, monitor, and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS)
  • Perform root cause analysis of machine downtime and recommend changes
  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and work order audits
  • Coordinate daily work orders and projects as they occur across shifts
  • Maintain plant facilities and grounds in accordance with relevant regulations, company, and regulatory standards, and fiscal considerations
  • Keep abreast of the latest manufacturing technologies and systems and engineering concepts to continually improve plant performance
  • Perform other duties as required


Requirements


  • A high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to interpret graphs and diagrams preferred
  • Experience working in a maintenance department, preferably in an automated food processing plant
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions to complete machine rebuilds and repairs
  • Ability to complete forms detailing maintenance work performed
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance software is preferred; knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required
  • Depending on location, may require various licenses by local, county, state, or federal agencies. This position requires a valid driver's license
