Key Responsibilities- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of our facilities and assets.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct preliminary investigations and prepare written reports on incidents and accidents.
- Enforce hospital safety and security rules and regulations.
- Perform routine safety checks and cleaning of department vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 2 years of security experience or an associate's degree in criminal justice or a related field.
- Must be able to read and write to conduct investigations and complete reports.
- Must have interpersonal skills necessary to provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and staff.
- Must be capable of providing effective assistance in restraining abusive or hostile persons.
- Experience with C-Cure, Continuum, AccessIT.
- Experience with CCTV.
- Experience with report writing software.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- IAHSS Basic, Advanced, or Supervisor Course.
