We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Healthy Lifestyles Coordinator to join our team at the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles. As a key member of our fitness team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and supportive environment in our fitness centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and engage with members to help them achieve their healthy living goals
  • Participate in member incentive and retention activities
  • Assist the Healthy Lifestyles Director with administrative tasks
  • Model and enforce Code of Conduct, Healthy Living Policies, and administer member issues
  • Respond promptly and courteously to member complaints and inquiries

Requirements:

  • Current CPR certification
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field, preferred
  • Foundations of YMCA Strength and Conditioning or equivalent
  • Strong character values; communication skills
  • Flexible working schedule including morning, evenings and weekends
