Position Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our well-established group practice in Clearwater, Florida. This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient care for adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals.
  • Conduct clinic-based medication management and psychiatric evaluations.
  • Provide inpatient care and be available for call coverage.
Work Schedule

The incoming psychiatrist will have a balanced workload with a minimum of 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient responsibilities. There is also the potential for additional inpatient coverage based on hospital census.

The facility is a 455-bed acute care hospital, part of a larger healthcare division, serving the community with comprehensive medical services.

Behavioral Health Department

Our Behavioral Health Department features:

  • 71 inpatient beds across multiple units for various psychiatric disorders.
  • Services including ECT, IOP/PHP, and psychiatric emergency evaluations.
Outpatient Clinic Details

The outpatient clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a patient volume of approximately 3-5 patients per hour. Support staff is readily available to assist with patient care.
