Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities to ensure exceptional care and support for our patients. Your role will include:

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience, with proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding medical terminology.
  • Possession of a Certified Nurse Aide license in South Dakota.
  • Physical capability to assist patients, requiring knowledge of proper body mechanics and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with colleagues, patients, and visitors.
  • Willingness to undergo cross-training as necessary.
Work Environment:
  • Engagement in direct, one-on-one interactions with patients and visitors, with potential exposure to communicable diseases.
  • Frequent use of cleaning and disinfecting chemicals.
  • Work is conducted in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment, with physical demands ranging from moderate to heavy lifting.
  • Job involves various physical activities including walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Minimal job hazards are anticipated.
