Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Structures Representative / Resident Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work closely with clients, contractors, and engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Work independently under broad supervision to write and issue field change orders, estimate costs, and negotiate with contractors.
- Supervise and direct the activities of Construction Inspectors, testing services, and subconsultants.
- Perform other duties as needed, including supporting projects throughout the SF/Bay Area or Sacramento/Valley areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience as a Structures Representative/Resident Engineer on multidisciplinary transportation projects.
- Familiarity with contract administration, codes, and laws governing construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
