Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team in Paducah, KY.

About the Role

The successful candidate will coordinate patient care in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines and regulations through IRB approved protocol requirements. The research nurse coordinator works collaboratively with the patient, other research staff, support system, referring physicians' staff, radiologists, surgeons, supporting physician, pathologists, and pathway staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients for changes in condition, adverse events, concomitant medication use, protocol compliance, and response to study drug, and thoroughly document findings.
  • Collaborate with investigators to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements

We require:

  • A graduate degree in professional nursing education (BSN preferred, ADN with applicable experience).
  • Oncology Research area: OCN certification required upon completion of 1st year in the research department.
  • At least two years of clinical experience in the area of research focus.
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including navigating websites, electronic data systems, electronic medical records, Excel, and Word.
  • Clinical Research Coordinator Certification through SoCRA or ACRP certification required upon one year of eligibility.
