Position Responsibilities:
The Memory Care Program Coordinator will oversee and manage the holistic wellness program within our memory care unit. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Collaborating with the Director of Engagement on resident assessments.
- Leading neuroplasticity programming, which encompasses Connect-Move-Learn cycles.
- Facilitating muscular strength, aerobic, and flexibility training.
- Promoting wellness through social and recreational activities and outings.
- Developing volunteer programs and coordinating community resources.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in activities or recreation services.
- Certification as a Dementia Practitioner or eligibility for certification.
- A willingness to engage in hands-on work with residents and staff.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet approved driver requirements to operate company vehicles.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is between $15.00 and $18.50 per hour, influenced by factors such as education, experience, and certifications. In addition to competitive pay, Creston Village Assisted Living and Memory Care offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off, and flexible hours to promote work-life balance. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses and program-specific incentives.
