Occupational Therapist Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an Occupational Therapist with MLee Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and provide therapy to patients, including conducting functional assessments and documenting progress.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Train and supervise Rehabilitation Technicians in treatment procedures and ensure smooth transitions for post-discharge rehabilitation.
  • Educate patients on procedures, risks, and home care programs, and provide ongoing support and guidance to patients and families.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current CA Occupational Therapist License.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
