Job Overview

Vail Resorts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead the Mount Snow resort. As a key member of the Vail Resorts leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of resort operations, including mountain operations, transportation, summer operations, food and beverage, ski and snowboard school, base operations, special events, guest services, community relations, and resort safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, with a proven track record of driving business results, building high-performing teams, and developing talent. You will be responsible for creating a positive culture that prioritizes guest experience, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business results through strategic planning, budgeting, and expense management
  • Lead a team of resort managers and staff to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest experience and employee engagement
  • Collaborate with corporate functions, including sales and marketing, finance, and human resources
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry
  • 8 years of experience in senior management, managing multiple departments
  • Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office fluency
  • Strong written and public speaking skills
  • Demonstrated financial management skills
