Special Projects Manager

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Special Projects Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Service Delivery Team, you will be responsible for planning and executing special projects that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, working closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders
- Utilize project management software to track progress, identify roadblocks, and adjust project plans as needed
- Design and deliver training sessions to support the rollout of special initiatives, ensuring seamless adoption and implementation
- Provide regular updates and formal reports to internal stakeholders, highlighting project progress and key milestones
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work collaboratively with vendors, functions, and departments to implement necessary changes
- Liaise between Service Delivery Team, corporate departments, and field operations to ensure needs are met and resources are applied effectively
- Research and analyze complex issues surrounding processes and systems, making recommendations for improvement that align with Equus' goals and compliance standards
- Facilitate the implementation of change management initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations
- Identify and promote methods for improving service delivery and business practices through automation, including the use of artificial intelligence
- Communicate changes and provide training to impacted business units, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to operations
- Accountable for the quality and timeliness of projects, responding to issues and following them through to resolution
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Three to five years of consulting or project management experience desired
- Experience and knowledge of technology solutions, including basic design, user testing, data mapping, and conversion of operational systems
- Organizational design and/or leadership experience preferred
- Six Sigma, PMP, and/or Change Management certification preferred
- Strong business acumen and attention to detail
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite products
- Familiar with web-based applications, database management, user interface/security, and integration of third-party software solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences, including at an executive level
- Must be willing to travel, with an annual average of 15% or less
