Safety Specialist Role at Havtech

Havtech's Safety team is expanding, and we're seeking a skilled Safety Specialist to join our team. As a Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting a safety-focused culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Safety program across all business locations.
  • Support functional areas relating to Safety and Risk Management, including inspections, incident and claims management, investigations, and program administration.
  • Deliver safety training to employees and maintain a safety training tracking system.
  • Conduct incident investigations and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute actions.
  • Coach and mentor employees on safe work practices, hazard identification, and risk management.
  • Support management of company fleet assets and facility security.
Requirements:
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Experience with HVAC, commercial construction, and/or related technical work preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and State safety regulations preferred.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and diplomacy skills.
  • Strong cross-functional strategic leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
