Responsibilities
  • Providing nursing care in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other post-acute care environments
  • Collaborating with residents and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
  • Administering appropriate treatments and medications to residents
  • Communicating care options effectively with residents and their families
  • Consulting with healthcare professionals, including physicians
  • Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
  • Ensuring adherence to facility policies and nursing standards
  • Documenting interventions and maintaining accurate medical histories
  • Conducting fluid sample collections for laboratory analysis
  • Leading and mentoring nursing staff
  • Assisting in incident investigations and ensuring accurate reporting
Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid nursing license in the state of Ohio
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of four months of experience in post-acute care or hospital settings
  • Strong organizational abilities
