Responsibilities
  • Providing care in post-acute facilities as a Practical Nursing Specialist
  • Ensuring adherence to resident care plans
  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental well-being, including vital signs
  • Conducting health assessments and documenting medical histories
  • Administering medications and observing their effects
  • Reviewing and maintaining residents' medical records
  • Contributing to a safe and comfortable environment
  • Managing medical supply inventory
  • Assisting with IV setups, immunizations, and phlebotomy
  • Supporting the orientation and training of new medical staff
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
