About the Role
- As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing nursing care services to our residents.
- You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assess the health status of residents and develop care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
- Supervise and train Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other healthcare staff to ensure high-quality care is provided.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state.
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- CPR certification required.
