Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Covenant Health. As a key member of our Centralized Business Office, you will be responsible for supervising assigned staff, resolving complex issues, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of staff and department responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, CMS guidelines, HIPAA, and other third-party payor requirements.
  • Monitor staff workload, adjust as needed, and strengthen staff performance.
  • Assist in the selection, orientation, training, evaluation, and discipline of employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments and physician practices to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain performance records and attendance records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of third-party payors and collection software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, staff, and physicians.
