Job Summary

The Perioperative Nurse Liaison serves as a vital member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) team, providing exceptional support to patients and families throughout the surgical experience. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams to address concerns and provide emotional support
  • Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a positive patient experience
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • NYS RN license/registration
  • BSN
  • National Certification required
  • Preferred: CN IV level or pursuing CNIV practice or education track
