Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on system upgrades and new technology implementations.
  • Prepare comprehensive plans and status reports for ongoing IT infrastructure projects.
  • Track project KPIs to ensure adherence to standards and mitigate risks.
  • Establish procedures and policies for optimal use of IT infrastructure resources.
  • Oversee IT personnel, consultants, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with IT managers and analysts across departments to assess infrastructure needs.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in infrastructure project management, employing standard project management methodologies in both technical and functional environments.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies is a plus.
  • Proactively manage critical paths to identify risks and issues before they impact projects.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Infrastructure Products, PowerCenter/Power Exchange, ISIM/ISAM, Sailpoint IIQ, CA Workload Automation, SQL Server, WebSphere, DataPower, LDAP, and Corticon Rules Engine.
  • Strong analytical and observational skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field and enhance IT infrastructure accordingly.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills and an understanding of baseline importance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
