Additionally, the Chief PA serves as a liaison between department staff, nursing units, referring physicians, house staff officers, and secretarial staff. The Chief PA must have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • Physician Assistant license by New York State and certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Graduate of an accredited PA program
  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • 5 years of leadership experience as a Physician Assistant
  • Able to travel between Moses and Weiler campuses, as needed
