Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team at Bosak Motors. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible service and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Inform customers of related part requirements and specials, ensuring they are exposed to our full product line.
  • Phone and Sales: Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and solicit assigned accounts by phone.
  • Order Fulfillment: Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts are ordered and pricing is accurate. Pull and fill orders from stock, replenish assigned inventory daily, and notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials.
  • Special Orders: Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources, submit emergency orders if necessary, and notify the service advisor and customer when special ordered parts have been received.
  • Back-Orders: Follow up on back-ordered parts, verify will-call and back-order files weekly, and return to vendors or stock items not picked up or required.
  • Payment and Credit: Receive payment from retail/wholesale customers, obtain credit authorization, and ensure all charge sales are signed by the customer.
  • Inventory Management: Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, and participate in all training programs made available.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required for the position.
