Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Database and Reporting Specialist is a critical member of the Philanthropic, Outreach, and Engagement team within the Global Relationships and Resources Department at Corus World Health. As a subject matter expert, this individual is solely responsible for the administration, management, and continual optimization of the organization's primary fundraising database, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analytics and Reporting: Provide critical management and focused analytics using high-level data analysis and synthesis of information to guide business development and fundraising decisions.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic global dashboards with up-to-date information and reporting metrics.
  • Generate strategic analysis reporting to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and generate weekly files for direct and digital mailings.
  • Develop and execute complex queries and reports, import/export data, and ensure global updates.
  • Manage the Power BI platform and ensure its accuracy.
End User Oversight and Support
  • Design, implement, and conduct database training for new and existing users.
  • Routinely identify training needs and develop written user guides.
  • Serve as the first line of support for technical needs; troubleshoot user issues and engage external support when needed.
  • Manage and ensure users follow proper security protocol procedure guidelines.
Data Quality and Reliability
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, procedures, and policies for database use and management.
  • Monitor the database regularly and perform routine data cleanup and maintenance to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop tools and resources that reflect the status of past, present, and future database work.
  • Meet with users who request data to ensure data output is accurate.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant work experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Progressively responsible experience in data analytics, database management, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated success in CRM management, including Raiser's Edge.
  • Ability to think critically while also providing innovation to database management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with using Omatic software Plug-Ins.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to contribute to business development and fundraising decisions.
Working Conditions

This position requires a hybrid work policy, allowing work to be done remotely; 2-3 days/week minimum in the office is required. The employee must be available to work outside normal office hours or on weekends as required. This position must be able to travel as required for standard domestic business purposes.
