Position Summary

The role involves completing assemblies within the designated work area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components in accordance with specified guidelines.
  • Develop proficiency in fundamental skills and some advanced techniques related to procedures, tools, materials, and equipment in your area of expertise.
  • Support colleagues during the assembly of components in your specialized area.
  • Instruct fellow Assemblers on proper techniques and procedures for key sub-assemblies that you have mastered.
  • Ensure completion of necessary assembly documentation, including check sheets, ECRs, MRRs, and material movement paperwork.
  • Address routine inquiries and challenges in mastered subassemblies, escalating more complex issues to Group Team Leads.
  • Utilize material handling equipment to transport parts, components, and subassemblies as needed.
  • Perform all tasks safely and maintain awareness of potential hazards in the work environment. Uphold cleanliness in your workspace.
  • Assist more experienced Assemblers as required.
  • May be requested to undertake team support roles to aid the Supervisor.
  • Adhere to Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste Rules and Responsibilities.
  • Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the company.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Technical, vocational, or military training or relevant experience is advantageous.
  • Typically requires 6 months of mechanical experience, with potential for growth through on-the-job training.
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a diverse and multicultural setting.
