Your Role:
As an Assembler, you will:
- Construct components and assemblies into frameworks, ensuring precision and quality craftsmanship in accordance with our high operational standards.
- Learn to set up and operate machinery effectively.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow blueprints or directives to assemble minor units.
- Remove burrs or sharp edges from parts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Utilize saws, drills, and taps to cut and install guards.
- Attach minor units and electrical components to frameworks.
- Conduct basic tests on completed assemblies to verify smooth functionality across various sub-assemblies.
- Select appropriate assembly techniques, ensuring parts fit within tight tolerances, and utilize hand and power tools for adjustments as needed.
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to the work schedule.
- Keep the workspace and shop area clean and organized as required.
Qualifications for Success:
- Proficient in assembling components with a solid understanding of the correct hardware for machine assembly.
- Experience with hand tools, as well as electrical and pneumatic power tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints accurately.
- Skilled in laying out, cutting, drilling, and tapping materials.
