Job Title: Adolescent Outpatient Therapist

At Sandstone Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As an Adolescent Outpatient Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality and empathic therapy to individuals and groups, addressing the root causes of adolescent clients' substance use and mental health diagnoses.

About the Job

As a therapist at Sandstone Care, you will:

  • Provide engaging and effective 3-hour clinical groups three times a week, covering topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention, and life skills.
  • Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans, ensuring that each client receives the best possible care and achieves their recovery goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A minimum of a master's degree in a Behavioral Health Science required (clinical social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field)
  • Required to be a licensed clinician in the state of Maryland (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) Provisional Licensed will also be considered (LGPC, LSW, LGMFT)
  • All staff must be CPR Certified prior to their first day of employment
  • Previous experience with treating mental health conditions is required;
  • Preferred experience with a treatment facility in residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and/or intensive outpatient (IOP) settings.
