Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Project Coordinator will leverage their extensive project management expertise, alongside Agile methodologies, to deliver effective solutions within MAI Wealth Management, Inc. This role involves collaboration with diverse teams and acting as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate project management and task order management requirements, customizing industry best practices to fit the organizational context; utilize a blend of traditional and agile methodologies to provide responsive project management solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear project goals and specifications, prioritize tasks, communicate progress updates, and manage changes through regular planning and re-planning sessions.
  • Document requirements through business cases, project charters, and project plans; continuously update these documents to reflect progress and modifications.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams possessing varied technical skills to ensure successful project delivery; modify project plans based on team performance and evolving business/user requirements.
  • Monitor progress and report on status and metrics at both the task and project levels.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of a project management dashboard to provide timely updates to project teams.
  • Act as a liaison to business and technical stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Prepare communications that uphold high standards of quality, consistency, and appropriateness for target audiences.
  • Promote Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle. Serve as Scrum Master for multiple teams, ensuring valuable outcomes from ceremonies and driving continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles to ensure successful delivery of team commitments. Facilitate issue resolution and risk management.
  • Comprehend process flows and translate them into formal procedural documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gain a thorough understanding of process workflows and documentation needs.
  • Create user-friendly online help and user guides, while conceptualizing innovative documentation approaches.
  • Produce high-quality documentation that adheres to applicable standards and is suitable for its intended audience.
  • Clearly explain concepts and processes to help both internal and external users grasp the technology.
  • Work across various teams to generate effective materials tailored for the required audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in leading and managing projects while supporting Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Smartsheet preferred
