Job Summary

This is a part-time Adjunct Faculty position in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Southwest Tennessee Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Education and contributing to the department's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Education, including curriculum development and instructional design.
  • Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student learning.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Participate in departmental and college committees.
  • Engage in professional development and stay current with developments in the field.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of teaching experience in higher education or one year of experience and three years of employment in the field.
  • Knowledge of current teaching and learning strategies, experience interacting with diverse student populations, and ability to integrate technology into course delivery.
