Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Therapist to join our team at Christian Children's Home of Ohio. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide compassionate and effective mental health and substance use counseling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care
    • Provide individual and family mental health counseling, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support client treatment plans.
    • Complete Mental Health Assessments (MHAs) and treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
    • Conduct level of care (LOC) assessments to determine client substance use treatment needs.
  • Documentation and Quality
    • Complete timely and well-written documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
    • Participate in peer review, supervision, and quality improvement activities to ensure high-quality care.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
    • Adhere to our organization's statement of faith and code of conduct, demonstrating a Christ-like attitude and commitment to our core values.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Master's degree in Counseling (Master's preferred).
  • Ohio Clinical licensure required: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC (independent license strongly preferred).
  • Experience treating individuals with substance use diagnoses and facilitating substance use therapeutic groups preferred. SUD certification/license strongly preferred.
