Ultrasound Technician FSED PRN Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients, collecting relevant information, and performing sonographic exams following defined protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams, collect relevant information, and perform sonographic exams following defined protocols.
  • Observe patients' conditions and notify physicians of unusual occurrences.
  • Compile records to expedite results and analyze image quality.
  • Take call after regular hours to meet department needs.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered or registry eligible by RDMS or ARRT.
  • Two to three years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two years of experience in a hospital.
  • ARDMS eligible, certification preferred.
  • Associate Degree.
