Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a 13-week assignment in Salem, Oregon.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work with our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various modalities, including 2D and 3D imaging
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering questions
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, as needed
