Breast Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

Rush University System for Health is seeking an experienced Breast Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cancer Service Line. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients with breast cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting, including history and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, and prescribing medications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement efforts to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Act as a leader and role model for other healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant Licensure or Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Licensure.
- Current Certification from National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or Current Nurse Practitioner Certification from a national certifying organization.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing or a related field.
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
