Job Title: Child Development Assistant

At TCA Creative Minds, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Development Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young learners.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a certified home or child care center. You must have current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers, as well as a Step 4 minimum in Oregon Online (ORO).

The ideal candidate will be able to assist the lead teacher with daily activities, including supervision, social emotional training, feeding, changing, and playing with children. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead teacher with curriculum implementation, including High Scope
  • Provide support with supervision, social emotional training, and feeding
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Assume responsibility when the lead teacher is absent

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team. You should also be able to communicate effectively with parents and other staff members. A strong desire to work with children and a long-term commitment to your career are essential.
