Job Summary

The County of Wexford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our educational institution's security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our students, staff, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of security for the school district, including day-to-day activities related to student, staff, and building security.
  • Design and implement various security drills and procedures to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
  • Assist with the supervision of students in the cafeteria, hallways, and general school areas.
  • Collaborate with the superintendent and school principals to develop and implement security protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Associate degree in a law enforcement-related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
