Position Summary:The Pharmacy Operations Manager oversees the daily functions of a dedicated team, including recruitment, workflow management, scheduling based on program requirements, performance assessment, and team growth. This role ensures adherence to key performance metrics and contractual commitments, thereby maintaining high levels of satisfaction among clients and customers. The Manager collaborates with leadership to formulate policies and procedures while identifying and suggesting operational enhancements.

- Develop a talent pipeline to meet future organizational needs.
- Coordinate various projects, programs, and services.
- Oversee daily team operations.
- Facilitate onboarding and training for all team members on departmental protocols.
- Identify and implement cross-training opportunities.
- Schedule personnel according to program demands and available resources.
- Mentor and develop direct reports through team meetings and individual sessions.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues.
- Engage with clients regarding operational performance based on program requirements.
- Continuously assess team efficiency, productivity, and accuracy, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Encourage effective collaboration across all organizational levels.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.
- Serve as a backup for team functions as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- GED/High School Diploma with 10 years of experience or an Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in managed care, prescription benefits, medical billing, reimbursement, or pharmacy operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience in resolving complex customer relations issues professionally.
- Able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work varying hours based on business needs.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician certification.
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Experience in managed care, prescription benefits, reimbursement, medical billing, or pharmacy.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred.
The physical and mental demands of this position are representative of those encountered while performing essential functions. The employee may frequently need to reach, grasp, stand, or sit for extended periods, walk, talk, and hear. Occasionally, the employee may lift or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment is typically moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.
