Special Education Instructor

Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is seeking a qualified SPED Teacher to work in a school setting in Anchorage, AK. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional special education instruction to students with disabilities, utilizing best practices to enhance student performance and provide a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education staff to ensure seamless integration of special education services and promote student progress.
- Supervise instructional assistants and provide guidance on effective instructional strategies.
- Participate in Student Success Team (SST) meetings and Multidisciplinary Conference (MDC) meetings to ensure student needs are met.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Alaska certificate for mildly disabled students (LD, ED, MIMR, OI) or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of special education students' needs and special education programming.
Salary: $55/hr, plus Start/Completion Bonus ($1,500 Bonus: $500 after completion of 30 days, $500 after winter break, and $500 at the end of the school year)
