Job Title: HM&E Instructor/Developer II

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering HM&E Design Documentation for the OPC program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HM&E systems and experience in training development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HM&E Factory Acceptance Training (FAT) and submit for USCG approval.
  • Develop and execute the curriculum for HM&E Familiarization (FAM) Training.
  • Satisfy all HM&E Training delivery as defined by the Contract.
  • Conduct training sessions and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
  • Interface with Training Management to ensure training needs are understood.
  • Support Human System Integration (HSI) and Human Factors Engineering (HFE) testing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years' experience in the marine industry with a minimum of 1-year prior training experience desired.
  • USCG or USN Shipboard Training Team, Damage Control Training Team, Navy Electronics Engineering Training, or Marine Engineering desired.
  • Multiple operational afloat tours are desired.
  • Formal Military Instructor credentials and current compliance with USCG regulations are a plus.
Skills:
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as general business periodicals, professional documents, Company policies/procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Must have accurate written and verbal communication skills to carry out and understand assignments, and/or convey or exchange routine information.
  • Ability to rapidly obtain, sort, filter, and analyze large volumes of data.
Working Conditions:
