Position Overview

The Ultrasound Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position requires a dedicated professional who is committed to patient care and technical excellence.

Certification Requirements
  • ARDMS Certification: Mandatory
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Required
  • RVT Registry: Necessary
Job Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for:

  • Performing a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms.
  • Executing small parts imaging such as thyroid, breast, and scrotal ultrasounds.
  • Conducting ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.
  • Providing timely and accurate diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of a Radiologist.
Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field is required.

Work Schedule
  • Shift: 9 PM to 5 AM, Sunday to Thursday
  • Flexibility to float to other departments as needed.
  • Experience with Epic software is essential.

  • This is a NICOTINE-FREE FACILITY.
  • Candidates with a history of license suspension will not be considered.
