NOTE: This position supports a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and conduct thorough reviews of tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Formulate budgets and pricing strategies to ensure efficient and timely project completion.
  • Guide and mentor team members, fostering trust and collaboration among colleagues and clients.
  • Manage daily operations related to planning, execution, and project completion.
  • Facilitate collaboration with Tax, SALT, TAS, and A&A teams.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff, promoting professional growth.
  • Evaluate team performance and deliver constructive feedback.
  • Engage with diverse industries, including automotive, construction, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, and real estate.
  • Offer strategic tax planning for individuals and businesses.
  • Support operational metrics and business planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting, including at least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • In-depth tax knowledge, particularly with individual tax returns and pass-through entities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to lead and supervise staff at various levels.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with others.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Familiarity with CCH Axcess, Caseware, and XCM is advantageous.
