This role is pivotal in collaborating with our Commerce team to expand audience engagement across our esteemed lifestyle brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various teams (General Management, Content, Product Development, and Revenue) to optimize Dotdash Meredith's commerce offerings and establish strategic growth initiatives.
- Design and implement SEO experiments to deepen our understanding of effective strategies.
- Work alongside product management to define SEO specifications that enhance website performance and user satisfaction.
- Partner with the Data Sciences team to develop algorithms that assess and elevate our content and search optimization efforts.
- Analyze search demand to pinpoint opportunities for content and product expansion.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to execute identified growth strategies.
- Monitor daily and weekly analytics to track search engine trends and evaluate project outcomes.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify potential acquisition targets.
Candidate Profile:
- 3-5 years of SEO experience, ideally within a large publishing environment or a leading digital consulting firm.
- Strong grasp of intent-driven audience engagement.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes from SEO initiatives.
- Experience with Skimlinks or Amazon Onsite Associates Program is advantageous.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset.
- Exceptional project management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with a reputation as the go-to expert within your team.
- Experience in analyzing extensive data sets from diverse sources, including web analytics and third-party SEO databases.
- Solid understanding of web development, with the ability to articulate precise technical SEO requirements.
- A background in writing or editing is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, science, business, or computer science.

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $72,100 - $103,000, which may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
