We are seeking an experienced Product Development Lead to join our team at Quest Global.

About the Role

This position involves leading product development initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of new products to market. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, collaborating with suppliers, and implementing process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience in product development, manufacturing, or a related field. They should be able to analyze problems, develop solutions, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead product development initiatives from conception to launch, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of new products to market.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Analyze problems, develop solutions, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure open communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve processes and methods.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Location: Hartford, Connecticut, USA (Remote + Travel required)
