Key Responsibilities:
1. Commission Processing (50-60%):
- Collect and review commission statements from insurance carriers, which may involve downloading data from carrier websites or direct communication with carriers.
- Gather commission workbooks from insurance producers and ensure accuracy through reconciliation with carrier statements.
- Update and maintain agent commission records and reconcile commission payments received from carriers with company deposits.
- Provide essential revenue and metric data for reporting to the operations manager and fulfill month-end reporting requirements.
2. Special Projects (15-25%):
- Develop and maintain formalized procedures for commission processing.
- Oversee lead entry processing to ensure timely assignment to producers and accurate metric reporting.
- Maintain a digital resource center for carrier contracts and other essential documents.
3. Software Proficiency (5-10%):
- Develop a solid understanding of HomeServices agency management software to facilitate effective commission processing.
- Reconcile client accounts as identified during commission processing activities.
4. Additional Responsibilities (0-5%):
- Perform any other duties as assigned or requested.

- Meet all performance and behavioral standards as outlined in the company’s performance appraisal documentation or communicated by management.
- Achieve responsibilities with a focus on quality and professionalism within designated time frames.
- Foster positive and productive relationships with colleagues, clients, and business partners.
- Exhibit the necessary behavioral and technical competencies to effectively fulfill job responsibilities and take initiative for professional development.
- Adhere to company HR policies, the Code of Business Conduct, and all departmental procedures, including maintaining confidentiality, punctuality, and safety practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Preferred background in accounting and experience in writing processes and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in advanced Excel, Word, and database management.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through capabilities and the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Property and Casualty insurance license and/or experience in an agency environment.
- Familiarity with agency management systems.
