We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Pride Institute, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients in our Residential Treatment Center.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to clients in our Residential Treatment Center, including monitoring their behavior and ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping.
- Participate in treatment planning and implementation, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- One year of experience in a mental health/psychiatric and/or chemical dependency treatment setting preferred.
- Must maintain compliance with all facility annual competencies, as well as CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must pass a background study and drug test.
